Description
gleitmo SFL 9680 is an air-drying 3-component solid film lubricant based on a special binder and solvent.
gleitmo SFL 9680 forms a dry lubricating film, which is distinguished by its excellent lubricating effect and high degree of abrasion resistance.
Fields of application
gleitmo SFL 9680 is used primarily for the dry lubrication of rubber materials. gleitmo SFL 9680 leads to very low coefficients of friction thus facilitating the assembly of parts.

The mixture of gleitmo SFL 9680 (K1+K2+K3) is ready for use. According to the application requirements it might be suitable to dilute the mixture with an adequate thinner. The workability time of the mixture is approximately 5 hours.
gleitmo SFL 9680 can be applied by spraying or dipping. The parts should be degreased prior to coating. To improve its adhesion on rubber materials, a plasma pre-treatment may prove beneficial.
gleitmo SFL 9680 cures at ambient temperature and forms a lubrication-effective coating. To achieve an enhanced mechanical and chemical resistance of the coating, curing at 100 – 150 °C is required.
